MEXICO, March 11, 2010. - Yesterday the strike that began on March 2 on Aeromexico reach its end through an agreement signed with the Flight attendants Union (ASSA).
The union accepted the company’s request to leave aside the demand for a10% salary increase and the revision of the collective labor contract and their administrative benefits.
The ASSA assembly, after a negotiation that went until 2:00 this Wednesday, accepted that flight attendant choose their accumulated days off (equivalents to Sundays)
Likewise, the major healthcare insurance became extensive to familiars and that they gave preference for hiring workers in Areovias de Mexico to workers that had been at Aeromexico Travel for three years.
In the other hand, Lizette Clavel Sanchez, sub-secretary at ASSA Union reiterated a work commitment in order to reach the agreements within social justice. And in that conciliation sense, she stated her trust in the revision ending in good terms. The summons for this revision ends on March 15. (El Semanario Agencia, ESA)
